Meet the lovely New Brands Guardian of the Baltic Sea, Nokonen, Kaino and Vanamo Deco!
Guardian of the Baltic Sea is a charity line of jewellery designed by Kehrä Interior. All the pieces are handmade in Finland from sustainable and high-quality materials.
From every piece purchased a donation of 40 euros goes straight to BSAG the Baltic Sea Action Group, a charity foundation that protects the Baltic Sea. Each pendant is a small action for a good cause and one link in a long chain which has a greater meaning for the future of the Baltic Sea. Let’s take care together of our beautiful sea and archipelago for us and the future generations to enjoy.
NOKONEN is a fresh and urban brand founded in 2017 by clothing designer Aino Kovalainen. The clothes and textiles are handcrafted in Helsinki. Nokonen is characterized by imaginative, unique, hand-painted patterns.
The materials used are ecological and natural, such as nettle and hemp. Fabrics used by Nokonen come from a factory in Italy, where the production is carried out with respect to the environment and people. The fabrics have the GOTS, Öko-tex and EU eco-labels that guarantee non-toxic and transparent production. Nokonen is not focused on collections, but is rather about creating timeless, versatile and durable clothes that you can love for a long time!
Vanamo Deco manufactures timeless high-quality textiles and interior design products. The Scandinavian patterns and colours are easy to combine with both modern and traditional styles. Vanamo Deco products are manufactured from start to finish in Finland and their fabrics are woven at a family run weaving mill in Espoo. The inspiration for Vanamo Deco designs come from the Finnish nature and old traditional hand-woven textiles. Product design and sewing take place in their own workroom in Turku.
